Barcelona captain, Carles Puyol, Messi to continue supporting the title after winning the Ballon d'Or Messi for the third time in a row.
"Of course we would be pleased if Xavi or Andres also win, because they well worth it," said Puyol, quoted Soccerway.
"But what I would say is that he (Messi) breaking all records. He can do it and he has the ambition to do just that. I believe that he will do it."
"I think in our squad, we were really (like) a family. And the award belongs to us all," said 33-year-old players.
